Kohlrabi Schnitzel (Cutlet)


Kohlrabi Schnitzel

Ingredients:

  • 2 Kohlrabi
  • whole grain flour
  • soy flour
  • oats drink
  • colza oil
  • lemon slice, cherry-tomatoes
  • salt, pepper, caraway seeds, basil

Peel 2 kohlrabi, cut them into slices of about 1 cm thickness and season them with ground pepper and caraway seeds.

 

Breading:

Bread the kohlrabi slices in whole grain flour, oats drink (whisked with some soy flour) and breadcrumbs.





Heat the colza oil in a pan and fry the breaded kohlrabi slices on both sides until they are golden yellow.

 

Then put them in the oven for about 15 minutes at 200 °C hot air.

 

Lightly salt the kohltrabi schnitzel and serve them with gnocchetti sardi, tomatoes and peas dip. Garnish with lemon slice and basil.
